Activities

Our certified recreational therapist designs daily activities that promote social interaction, physical activity and communication. Oakwood also provides transportation so our residents can enjoy outings, shopping trips and community activities.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease

We care for patients who require additional attention due to dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Our highly trained staff members promote and follow established safety precautions for these residents.

Dietary

After admission, all residents receive a nutrition screening assessment by our clinical dietitian. Meals are prepared fresh daily by our on-site dietary department, managed by Morrison Health Food Services.

Housekeeping and laundry

We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility, and all resident rooms are cleaned daily. Laundry services are also provided.

Skilled nursing care

We offer a team approach to our skilled nursing program. Our interdisciplinary team works with the residents and their families to develop personalized care plans.

Social services

Our licensed social worker promotes independence, dignity and personal fulfillment for residents. Residents can meet individually with our staff to discuss and develop solutions that meet their specific needs. There are monthly resident council meetings.
