To help mothers prepare for the physical demands of pregnancy, labor and baby care, our wellness center offers Moms-in-Training, a complimentary fitness program for our patients during pregnancy and for three months after delivery.
Moms-in-Training, following guidelines established by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, helps to improve flexibility and aerobic capacity, increase strength and ensure proper weight gain and loss before and after you have your baby.
Pregnant women and new mothers are evaluated individually to determine safe and appropriate programs, which are overseen by trained staff members. Programs include water aerobics, group exercise classes and individual fitness routines. Moms-in-Training requires a physician referral.
